Welcome to Tony's Safe Place. As a mental health charity based in the heart of Cumbernauld, we are dedicated to supporting individuals in need. Established in loving memory of Tony Rice, who tragically lost his life to suicide in 2018, our charity aims to honour his legacy. We provide a safe haven for those struggling with mental health issues, offering various services tailored to meet diverse needs. Our mission revolves around fostering a sense of community and understanding, ensuring that no one feels alone in their journey. Together, we can make a difference.
Our dedicated team is made up of qualified volunteers, all of whom have undergone ASIST training and are PVG checked. We understand the importance of creating a supportive environment, where everyone feels heard and respected. In addition to our core services, we actively engage in community outreach and awareness initiatives to destigmatise mental health issues. By doing so, we hope to promote dialogue, understanding, and healing throughout the community. At Tony's Safe Place, we believe that together, we can create a brighter and more hopeful future for all.
